Print Resolution Optimization: Spacing & DPI Spacing

Printing digital files requires translating digital pixels into physical ink dots. Standard screens display graphics at 72-96 DPI, but physical printers require 150-300 DPI to avoid soft, blurry edges.

To optimize a document for print, verify that all embedded raster images meet the target print resolution. For an A4 paper sheet (8.27 x 11.69 inches), printing at 300 DPI requires image dimensions of exactly 2480 x 3508 pixels.

Setting margins is equally important. Ensure that critical text lines and outline shapes sit inside the printer's printable boundaries. Setting margins to at least 0.5 inches prevents text clipping near the paper edges.
