Last Updated: July 18, 2026

Introduction

LovethePDF ("Website", "We") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our services if such claims are reported to our designated copyright agent.

DMCA Takedown Notice Requirements

If you are a copyright owner, authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Website by submitting a written DMCA Notice. Upon receipt of the Notice, we will take whatever action we deem appropriate, including the removal of the challenged content.

Your DMCA Notice must include the following information:

  • Identify the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or provide a representative list of the works if multiple works are covered by a single notification.
  • Identify the material or link you claim is infringing (or the subject of infringing activity) and to which access is to be disabled, including at a minimum the URL of the link shown on the Website or the exact location where such material may be found.
  • Provide your company affiliation (if applicable), mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Include both of the following statements in the body of the Notice:
"I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
"I hereby state that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed."
  • Provide your full physical or electronic signature.

Client-Side Processing Note

Please Note: LovethePDF operates as a client-side document processing tool. We do not store, host, or cache your document files on our servers. All compression, merging, splitting, and conversions occur in the client browser. Because your files are not transmitted to or stored on our servers, there is no hosted content for us to delete or disable access to. If you are concerned about a copyrighted document on your local machine, simply delete it from your local storage.
